A recent study by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce confirms what D’Youville graduates already know: a DYU education is an investment that pays off for a lifetime. The national analysis, which reviewed more than 4,600 colleges and universities, placed D’Youville second in Western New York for return on investment. Over the course of 40 years, graduates see an average ROI of $2.16 million, highlighting the lasting value of a D’Youville degree. The study also noted D’Youville’s strong performance in the short term, with graduates realizing an estimated $214,000 ROI after just 10 years. D’Youville was named an at- large finalist for the 2026 NCAA Division II Award of Excellence, which highlights initiatives that exemplify the Division II philosophy of community engagement and student-athlete leadership. D’Youville was one of 26 Division II schools to be nominated. D’Youville Athletics partnered with the Ralph Wilson Conservancy Park to build a new playground on Buffalo’s West Side. Over a three-day period, student-athletes contributed more than 250 service hours mixing concrete, assembling playground equipment, painting and landscaping. Their efforts brought to life an inclusive and engaging space that will soon welcome families, children and community members from across Buffalo. This innovative degree blends licensure-aligned massage therapy education with wellness management, allowing students to build practical skills while gaining the knowledge needed to coordinate, lead, and advance wellness initiatives across healthcare and community settings. As students progress, the wellness management component prepares them for expanded career pathways beyond traditional massage therapy roles, including leadership, program coordination, teaching eligibility in New York State and pre-professional pathways such as chiropractic. BUFFALO BITES A quick look at some of the recent high points that make us proud to be Saints: A hands-on career in massage therapy D’Youville announced in the fall that total enrollment to start the 2025-2026 academic year reached 2,893 students, marking a significant increase from 2,556 students in Fall 2024, an overall growth of 13 percent. Graduate enrollment saw especially strong gains, rising from 1,298 to 1,567 students, a 21 percent increase year over year. Much of that growth is driven by high-demand healthcare programs, including: • Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner, up from 279 to 366 students (31% increase) • Master of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, up from 148 to 236 students (59% increase) • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN Online), up from 18 to 101 students (461% increase) Enrollment on the rise
