6 Keynotes October 2024 aloa.org EXECUTIVE PERSPECTIVE As you likely saw in the September issue of Key- notes, ALOA 2024 in Las Vegas was a fantastic event. We had attendance levels surpassing the last time we were in Las Vegas, and the five days of classes were well received. The Security Expo had a packed floor. This year, we brought back free evening seminars, and we had more than ever before. Some nights you had as many as seven seminars to choose from! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success. Save the date now for the 2025 ALOA Conven- tion & Security Expo. We’ll be back at the Hilton Orlando August 3-9, 2025, where we were in 2023. SAFETECH 2024 SAFETECH is always a wonderful event with a great crowd of attendees. This year’s convention was held in Tulsa for the first time, and the Hyatt Regency proved to be a fantastic location for us. Classes were well attended, and everyone enjoyed the events such as the manipulation contest, Kick-Off Party and Friends of SAVTA Live Auction. We also held free evening seminars that proved to be so popular that other instructors had to come in to help due to the number of students! Save the date now for the 2025 SAFETECH Convention. We’ll be returning to the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington, KY, April 7-12. Also save the dates of May 14-17, 2025, for the IAAL Auto Lock Expo. We’ll be in Cedar Rapids, IA — a great central location, and a city with a vibrant local scene. Look for more information in the coming months on SAVTA.org and ALOA.org about all three conventions.
