Tilted Element™ CHIRP Transducers Depth and Temperature Tilted Element CHIRP Transducers with Low-Profile Thru-Hull Installation Tilted Element transducers have a ceramic element fixed at a 20°, 12°, or 0° angle within the housing. When installed nearly flush to the hull, the tilted element corrects for hull deadrise, orienting the beam directly downward. This ensures maximum echo returns for more accurate depth readings. • Fixed 20° tilted version: 16° to 24° hull deadrise • Fixed 12° tilted version: 8° to 15° hull deadrise • Fixed 0° tilted version: 0° to 7° hull deadrise 300 W and 600 W Models These 300 W and 600 W depth and temperature transducers feature bronze or stainless steel housings. Bronze models are suitable for fiberglass or wood hulls, while stainless steel models are compatible with all hull types. Rated for up to 24° deadrise, they are ideal for vessels up to 25' (8 m). Available in single-band CHIRP configurations, each model is optimized for a specific performance priority—depth, detail, or coverage. 5 mm (0.19”) M70 x 2 mm (0.08”) threads 129 mm (5.09”) Airmar Mix & Match Pages 31-34 Frequency and Performance Options Available in Low (L), Medium (M), High (H), and High-Wide (HW) CHIRP options. 300 W / 600 W Max depth 1200' (366 m) LOW HIGH WIDE MED HIGH 0' (0 m) 500' (152 m) 1000' (305 m) 1500' (457 m) ø 94 mm (3.71”) Hole Size Fiberglass or Wood 2-13/16" (70 mm) Metal hull 3-1/8" (79 mm) Model Power Tilt Options Description Max Depth CHIRP Frequency Bands Beamwidth (Typical) B75L SS75L 300 W 0°, 12° Low CHIRP for deep-water performance. 1200' (366 m) 40–75 kHz 32°–21° B75M SS75M 600 W 0°, 12°, 20° Medium CHIRP for a balance of depth and detail—ideal for all-around use. 900' (274 m) 80–130 kHz 24°–16° B75H SS75H 600 W 0°, 12°, 20° High CHIRP for maximum target resolution—delivering excellent bottom discrimination and clear bait and game fish separation at all depths. 700' (214 m) 130–210 kHz 15°–9° B75HW SS75HW 600 W 0°, 12°, 20° Combines High CHIRP for maximum target resolution with a wide beam for expanded coverage—ideal for locating bait schools and pelagic species in the upper water column to 350'. 350' (106 m) 150–250 kHz 30° Low provides depth.
