Hubel, CML, ICML, CMIL, M.Ed. as associate director of education. In their new roles, Lynk and Hubel will further develop and revamp ALOA’s education and certification offer- ings, bringing in new classes, instructors, and forms of education as well as ensur- ing the PRP program continues to serve ALOA members and beyond. Lynk has been a locksmith since 1975 and an educator since 1978, having earned his master’s degree in education. He’s a highly regarded instructor and author and has been named Keynotes author of the year twice. In 2017, he was awarded the prestigious ALOA Lifetime Achievement Award. Lynk has been an ACE instructor for 20 years and has volunteered as a web designer/webmaster for the ALOA Schol- arship Foundation. He was awarded the ALOA Education Department Service Award in 2012 and the ACE Instructor of the Year in 2014. Recently, he was elected as the new LIST Council Chairman and has also served as the North Central Di- rector on the ALOA Board of Directors. He is a member of ALOA, ILA, ASIS, LIST Council, LSA and ClearStar. Hubel has more than 40 years of expe- rience in the industry and holds a bach- elor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in administration. In addition to his expansive locksmithing knowledge, he has served as an industrial arts pro- gram director and an aviation program director in the school system. Hubel is a lifetime member of ALOA and has re- ceived the prestigious ALOA Lifetime Achievement Award. He’s a member of ClearStar, Locksmith Security Association (LSA), International Lock- smiths Association (ILA), Michigan Key- less Lock Association (MKLA), among others. He serves on the ALOA Scholar- ship Foundation Board (ASF) and Fel- lowship of Christian Locksmiths’ (FCL) service projects, and he’s the Ambassador for the LIST Council. Current ALOA Education staff mem- bers Joe Peach and Dawne Chandler have been promoted to take on expanded and shifting roles to maximize each indi- vidual’s’ expertise. Chandler is now the marketing and media manager/education coordinator for ALOA. In her role, she will use her more than 30 years of design and administrative experience and her exten- sive knowledge of ALOA to help facilitate the department’s goals. Peach now serves as operations manager for ALOA, having previously served as as- sistant education manager since 2018. In his new role, he will help achieve ALOA goals in the Education Department and beyond, bringing to the table his more than 20 years of industry experience and CML certification. He will continue to en- sure that ALOA, instructors and students have everything they need for their classes. ALOA SPAI is lucky to have each of these individuals on board to help expand and fine-tune the association’s educa- tion and certification offerings to meet the needs of the industry. He was owner of Keystone Techlock LLC and has been a member of ALOA and SAVTA since 2004. Randall J. Smith, RL, of Action Lock- smith Service, LLC in Montgomery, AL, passed away in February 2023.
