H ERE WE ARE AT THE END OF THE YEAR — and it’s been a good one for ALOA SPAI. We had two great conven- tions this year, and we’ve had many improvements for the association. One of the fore- most changes was the relaunch of ALOA.org. This is a project we have long wanted to undertake, and we were finally able to make it a reality. The website has all-new content, a fresh design and better navigation to help make the browsing experience better for members and prospective members. You should be able to find information you need quicker, and the new convention pages allow you to see what you need at a glance. If you have any comments or suggestions about the site, please contact us at [email protected]. We hope to continue making this the best resource possible for our members. Education Improvements ALOA Education has been busy this year as well improving our educational programs. They con- tinue to update the ALOA Fundamentals of Lock- smithing class to better prepare beginner students, and they’ve introduced a one-hour ethics class to help those who need that class for licensing. A new Automotive Fundamentals class is also in the works. An emphasis has also been placed on recruiting new instructors and updating the PRP. At conven- tions, we continue to offer new classes, and this year we had such success with our free evening seminars. Read more about all of these efforts in the Education column in this issue of the magazine. State of the Industry And as we continue improving ALOA, how should Mary A.
