Locinox Introduces the Unilec Electric Insert L OCINOX’S NEW UNILEC electric insert for outdoor pedestrian gates is the only electric keep with a mechanism that actively pushes the latch bolt out when triggered by an access con- trol signal. This allows for invisible installation with a minimal cut- out, even at the center of the profile. There is minimal clear- ance between the post and gate wing, and the Click-It mounting system allows for fast installation. The insert is compatible with UNI- WING insert locks and prepared profiles, and it’s modular and inter- changeable with SFKU. Unilec fits profiles from 21/2” depth, comes in a fail-close version, operates on 24V DC and is available with or without strike plate. The new Unilec gate insert from Locinox actively pushes the latch bolt out when trig- gered by an access control signal.
