What’s New Years ago (in the 30s) my father took in the “BEST” line. I remember we had uncombi- nated cylinders, a full line of padlocks, and a full line w/ mortise & rim cylinders, etc. Years later the FBI came in and told us crooks had broken into “X” amount of Industry News, ALOA News, New Products and More by one of the drug manufacturers and cleaned them out — putting on padlocks sold by us on the cars so their inspector didn’t realize anything was missing until it reached its last stop. BEST was given the locks and aſter taking them apart were able to figure out where they came from. We looked up the codes/coder they had sent along and we looked up our re- cords and told them who purchased the locks from us. They never came back to tell us if they caught the crooks. — Ed Kotler, Locksmith Service, es, FL Asia Pacific Doors & Windows Architectural Hardware (APAHAS) sponsored ALOA to participate in the Hardware Exhibition in Guangzhou, China.
