What’s New PRODUCT BRIEFS HES has reengineered the 9600 series electric strike for increased strength, durability and aesthetics, according to the company. The new 9600 has a static strength of up to 2,000 lbs., a 25% increase over pre- vious models, and a dynamic strength of 120 ft.-lbs., an increase of 40%. Accompanying the improved 9600 is a new magnetic template to ease installation of HES’s 9400, 9500 and 9600 Series electric strikes. Keyline recently introduced seven new keys, including four pod keys, for Renault, Citroen, Toyota, GM, Keso, Giussani and Honda cars. They have also updated the software for the Versa electronic key cut- ting machine, allowing users to save information about duplicate keys in the machine. Another software up- date for the 884 Decryptor Ultegra includes added features for Ford and Holden Commodore keys. Lastly, Key- line has extended their free warranty on electronic and mechanical key cutting machines and the 884 Decryptor Ultegra to 24 months. A PRODUCTS Adams Rite Introduces Dual-Level Hardware for RITE Door dams Rite, an ASSA ABLOY Group company, recently an- nounced the addition of the D3940 Series dual levelers to the RITE door hardware line. The dual levers, when attached on either side of the TRUE Wood RITE door, allow each leaf to operate inde- pendently and feature a freewheeling lever mechanism. The hardware is also available electrified for access control. The new TRUE Wood RITE door is available in several types for vari- ous fire ratings, with optional features including silent electrification motorized latch retraction, request to exit monitoring/signal switches and electric dogging. All of the TRUE Wood doors may contribute to LEED 3.0 credits, and the RITE door has been awarded Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Certification. “Custom is king,” says Curt Hubacher of ASSA ABLOY. When EcoPower is used with EcoFlex electrified mortise locks, energy con- sumption of door openings can be reduced from 12W to only 0.3W, according to the company. EcoFlex also received GreenCircle cer- tification for an energy reduction of up to 96% of that of standard electrified mortise locks. Codelock Unveils New Access Control Technologies C Keyline’s software updates push their products to meet higher stan- dards for efficiency and usability. odelocks’ new access control technologies, the KL1000NC with NetCode and the CL5000 electronic lock with audit trail function, are now available. The KL1000NC features pre- shipping lock activation via the NetCode portal and time-sensitive codes for im- mediate or future use. The CL5000 electronic lock allows for management and program- ming through Codelocks data management soſtware. Users may also review and analyze door activity through the program. Send codes via email or SMS while record- ing the time, date, duration, location and recipient of the code. Track, control and analyze the CL5000 lock through Code- locks’ data manage- ment software.
