The ALOA Scholarship Foundation (ASF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), tax-exempt, educational corporation established in 1993. It provides funding for locksmith educational programs and assistance to individuals who wish to pursue a career in locksmithing. Brian Lamb Named President of Lockmasters B rian Lamb has been promoted to president of Lockmasters, Inc. He has worked for Lockmasters for the past 37 years in various roles, from instructor to SVP of sales. Brian is a locksmith, safe technician and automotive specialist. The company says that his knowledge of the industry and expertise will continue to be an asset in this new position. Brian Lamb Free Ladder Safety Training Available N ational Ladder Safety Month was observed in March, but the American Ladder Safety Institute (ALI) has free training available year-round at www.laddersafetytraining.org. There is an organized curriculum with videos and resource libraries available on demand. Users can develop a custom dashboard, called a Trainer’s Toolbox, in which they select training and testing, assign them to trainees, and monitor trainee perfor- mance and progress on the assignments. These dashboards can track everything from a handful of trainees for smaller organizations all the way up to hundreds for larger enterprises. Topics covered include single and ex- tension, articulated, mobile and steplad- ders, with courses available in English or Spanish.
